The ISBMgr.exe program is not the issue, because I wiped the hard drive completely and installed Windows 7 Ultimate when I got the computer. In Windows 7 (64 bit, Ultimate) it shows the battery as "Plugged in and not charging (0%)". Laptop will not turn on with the battery inserted, whether it is on A/C or not. I insert it, and all I get is a Blinking Battery LED indicator. Listing showed it as Genuine, got it in a short period of time. ![]() ![]() I bought a new battery (Model VGP-BPS24) from ebay for about $115 CAD, shipped. This computer is originally from China, I'm in Canada. ![]() Long story short, battery conked on my Sony Vaio Laptop (Model VPCSD28EC) to the point where it won't hold a charge.
